My beautiful crazy lady x
So after spending nearly all week gardening [and talking to myself], also with some of the things that have happened over the last week i've finally realised something;
Why does my 21 month old daughter have the world so right and I don't!?
For the last three days I have watched her potter about without a care in the world be it in the garden, at the shops or at someone elses house she just carries on regardless.
It's wonderful to see her so happy all of the time without a care in the world, and it makes me wonder just when exactly it changes, when do we go from carefree to adult?
Today for example we have been to B&Q (other hardware stores are available) and she managed to entertain herself with two pairs of purple gardening gloves, yes she was wearing a glove on each hand but as they were attached to the other glove from the pair she looked like she had four hands, anyway she was waving them about like she was the queen and running up and down the place laughing her head off. Such a wonderful imaginaton at such a young age!
I never want my children to have to go through the things that I have, but then I also don't want them growing up thinking life is too easy. But after watching my little girl I think i should go an buy some cotton wool...
So anyway I think what i'm trying to say is lets all go a little crazy, lets wear silly things, sing badly at the top of your voice (just me?), dance like fools and have some fun.
If for no other reason than because our children deserve it!

You're absolutely right Rob - Letting go and acting a bit silly some times is liberating. Toots would cheer the grumpiest person in the world up - she's just so gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteShe is a legend, keeps us all going through the bad times!
